Flipper Chapel plans fall revival
Flipper Chapel A. M. E. Church will celebrate its fall revival on Nov. 17 and 18, at 7 p.m. each night. The theme is “Falling in love with Jesus.” The guest church and pastor on Thursday  will be the Rev. Susan Buxton and family from the Bellview Circuit of Aragon, Ga. On Friday the guest pastor and church will be the Rev. Vandy Simmons and the Antioch A. M. E. Church of Stone Mountain. Flipper Chapel is at 175 Booker Avenue, Fayetteville.

Anger workshop planned at COS
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City invites all to “A Christian Response to Anger,” a workshop at the church on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. The workshop will be led by Pastor Miriam Beecher and Joyce Divinyi, a licensed professional counselord. Divinyi has 27 years’ experience in private practice and consulting, and is the author of seven books. There is no charge. For more information, call 770-487-8717.

Ugandan Thunder to perform Nov. 20
The Ugandan Thunder Children’s Choir will perform at Fayette Family Church, 1729 Ga. Highway 54 West in Fayetteville, on Sunday,  Nov. 20 at 10:45 a.m. The concert consists of Ugandan drum songs, track songs in the Lugandan language as well as songs in English. The children will sing and dance and worship. The tour is sponsored by Pennies For Posho, a non-profit Christian ministry that provides food, clothing, shelter, and clean drinking water to orphanages in Uganda. Holly Grove to celebrate Women’s Day
On Sunday Nov.  20, at 10:30 a.m., Holly Grove AME Church will host ts “Annual Women’s Day.” The guest speaker will be Evangelist Terribia Atkins.  Holly Grove AME Church is located at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., Peachtree City.

Eat chili, worship at COS Nov. 22
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City announces the annual chili supper and Thanksgiving Worship on Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. at the church. Judges will select winners among the dozens of varieties of chili offered. There is no charge. At 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Eve worship will be held in the sanctuary. Intern Pastor Jonathan Trapp will preach.
