PEACHTREE CITY, GA – March 12, 2025 – The McIntosh High School Interact Club, a dedicated group of student volunteers sponsored by the Rotary Club of Peachtree City, is excited to announce their upcoming “Paddles for a Cause” Pickleball Tournament on April 19, 2025, at Flat Creek Country Club. This community-focused event will support Healing Bridge Clinic, a local nonprofit organization providing free primary healthcare and education to underserved residents in Fayette and surrounding counties.
The Interact Club, comprised of enthusiastic teens from McIntosh High School, is well-known for their commitment to service and community engagement. Throughout each school year, club members actively raise funds and gather donations that have benefited several local charities, including Leap for Literacy, Bloom Closet, Clothes Less Traveled, Royal Animal Refuge, and more. Their latest effort, the “Paddles for a Cause” Pickleball Tournament, continues this tradition of generosity and community support.
“Our students are passionate about making a tangible difference in our community,” said Lei Lydle, Rotary Sponsor of the McIntosh High School Interact Club. “This pickleball tournament is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, have fun, and support a truly impactful cause at Healing Bridge Clinic.”
Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. The tournament promises friendly competition, prizes, food, and fun, all while making a meaningful contribution to local healthcare services.
