A move by Golf Rider to renovate and expand the Fayette Rental building on Huddleston Road was approved Nov. 15 by the Peachtree City Planning Commission.
City planning staff said a conceptual site plan and schematic building elevations for the renovation and expansion of the Fayette Rental building at 112 Huddleston Road are designed to have Golf Rider relocate its business to the site.
The entire 6,500 sq. ft. building would be renovated to include a showroom, service, repair and storage area. The building would then be expanded to provide additional repair space. A covered pavilion would be constructed within the existing parking area and would be utilized as an outdoor showroom, planning documents said.
Exterior building modifications would include repairing and repainting the existing siding, adding a brick base course along the perimeter of the building and repairing the metal roof canopies. The new pavilion will be constructed with similar materials used for the main building, staff said.
The approval by the Planning Commission came with three conditions dealing with exterior features, a landscape plan and the exemption from buffer standards per ordinance.
