These Whitewater High School students represented Fayette County at Valdosta State University for the 2014 Governor’s Honors Program June 22-July 19. The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is a four-week, summer residential program designed to provide intellectually gifted and artistically talented high school students challenging and enriching educational opportunities not usually available during the regular school year. Only 1 percent of sophomores and juniors in the state of Georgia are nominated to the state level for the Program. Junior Judson Elsholz was selected for German, Sophomore Patrick Neuner was selected for Social Studies and Sophomore Chris Cassidy was selected for Executive Management. Photo/Submitted.
