The Huddleston Elementary community knows our National Parks thanks to Ranger Day.
Ranger Day is a showcase for students in 3rd grade enrichment. Throughout the year, they dive deeply into a chosen national park, creating a website with digital artifacts to highlight their learning. For the showcase, they bring everything together by designing a tri-fold display and building a diorama, which they present as parents and classmates tour the “Ranger Stations.”
Teacher Amy Hudson loves seeing the kids share their knowledge.
“It’s such a special and memorable experience for our student ‘rangers,’ as well as for families and visitors.”
