Kedron Elementary took a bite out of their studies of landforms by crafting cookies.

The 1st grade had been studying the different landforms of the earth, and they got to show what they learned for a treat. Each student was given full graham cracker (the base and plain), Hershey’s Kisses (mountains), Rolo (plateau), frosting (valleys and coasts), and crushed graham crackers (deserts) to make their tasty topography.

“It was a really fun way to wrap up our landform unit,” said teacher Maloree Brooks. “I hope this hands-on, exciting activity helps them identify landforms in the future!”
