Peachtree City’s popular community outreach event, Slice of the City, will return this Wednesday, May 28, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Wilksmoor Village Tennis Center. This event is hosted to give residents a direct line of communication with city employees across a wide range of departments.
Residents are invited to bring their questions, concerns, and ideas to representatives of various departments within the city’s government, including the Peachtree City Police Department, Fire Department, Library Services, Planning and Development, Public Works, and more. The goal of the event is to create open dialogue and strengthen the relationship between city officials and employees and the community they serve.
Mayor Kim Learnard encourages residents to come out to this event that she feels has brought insight and meaningful conversation to the city’s employees about how Peachtree City can grow and improve.
While this event is being held in Wilksmoor Village, Learnard invites all Peachtree City residents to attend, regardless of where they live.
This event is part of a recurring series that will continue to rotate through the city’s villages, with the next event being hosted on Tuesday, June 18, in Aberdeen Village.
