The congregation of the Cathedral of Christ the King, Sharpsburg, recognized the veterans present in the service Sunday, on November 12. The church played the theme song for each of the branches of service and the congregation gave a standing ovation.

Not quite four year old Jeremiah McGee asked his dad, Seth, “Who are these people?” Then he answered his own question with, “It’s Superheroes.” His dad, whose own father, a Vietnam veteran who was among those recognized, said, “Yep, they’re superheroes.”
