2 meth arrests last week outside Fayetteville

Two Kentucky residents were charged with trafficking in methamphetamine after being stopped by Fayette County deputies on Oct. 4 along Ga. Highway 54 east of Fayetteville.

Melissa Turner, 47, also of Manchester, Kentucky, was charged with trafficking in meth, records said.
 
Sheriff Barry Babb said deputies patrolling Hwy. 54 East at approximately 1:15 a.m. stopped the vehicle driven by Frazier near the intersection of Manor Oak.
 
Deputies found multiple plastic bags containing suspected meth in several locations in the vehicle, Babb said.
