The Fayette County Extension Service is offering a class entitled “Soil Testing for Urban Gardeners” Tuesday, Mar 1, 10-11:30 a.m. in Suite 210 of the county administrative complex, next door to the Extension Office. The class is free.

Developing productive soil begins with soil testing.  This test determines the nutrients in the soil and what is needed for the best growth of garden, lawn and other types of plants.  Come more about the importance of soil testing and making proper amendments.  A healthy soil is the first step in ensuring healthy plants.

To have adequate seating and material, RSVP by calling 770-305-5412 X 7 or e-mail [email protected] (please include the name(s) of those attending, the date/class you wish to attend, and contact information).
