The Main Street Newnan Market Days kicked off its season April 4 with the unique locally made items it’s known to feature.

The monthly Market Day will be held every first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. through December.

The Market showcases handmade, homemade and homegrown products with new vendors and new products each month. The Market features over 50 unique spaces, with a variety of one-of-a-kind gift items.

Market Day favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams,& jellies, salsa, pottery, art, handmade children’s clothes, hand-woven baskets, leather products, freshly baked goods, handmade furniture, handmade birdhouses, wood-art, fiber-art, wreathes and floral design, and more.

“Pickin’ on the Square” occurs simultaneously each month during the Market Day and visitors can enjoy the sounds of local musicians playing acoustic sets at random around the Court House Lawn. Any musician with an acoustic instrument is invited to join. In the past, Blue Grass musicians have found the opportunity to be especially appealing.
