An east Fayette County man was arrested at his home on Jan. 26 after he was found in possession of 137 grams of methamphetamine, four firearms and $35,000 in cash.
Shaun Gregory (aka Shaun Perkins), 33, of Antebellum Way southeast of Fayetteville, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, according to Sheriff Barry Babb.
Babb said a search warrant was executed by the sheriff’s offices in Fayette and Spalding counties at Gregory’s residence.
Babb said Spalding investigators and members of Fayette’s Tactical Narcotics Team (TNT) found 137 grams (approximately 5 ounces) of methamphetamine, $35,000 in cash, two handguns, a rifle and a shotgun.
The arrest was connected to two others in Spalding County where additional methamphetamine and other drugs were seized, Babb said.
