0Fayette County firefighter Brad Boemanns was the recipient of the 2014 Silent Hero Award for Heroism, presented Sept. 11 by the Ronnie Thames Foundation at a ceremony at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. Boemanns was seriously injured in a structure fire in 2010 and endured 18 months of rehab before returning to work.
