Abigail Feltner, a senior at Starr’s Mill High School, will be crowned Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen at a special crowning ceremony on Sunday, at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone.
Feltner, who was named Miss Starr’s Mill in January 2014, earned the opportunity to compete in the Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen Pageant in Columbus in June.
At the statewide pageant, Feltner was named 1st Runner Up, and Olivia McMillan (Miss Warner Robins Outstanding Teen) was crowned Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen.
In August, McMillan went to Orlando to compete in the nationwide teen pageant, Miss America Outstanding Teen, and she won that pageant.
As a result of her new title as Miss America Outstanding Teen, McMillan will pass her state crown to Feltner, who will fulfill the duties of Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen 2015.
Along with McMillan, Maggie Bridges, who is Miss Georgia 2015, will be at Feltner’s crowning ceremony. Bridges will compete for the Miss America title in a few weeks.
The crowning ceremony and reception will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at Glendalough Manor, 200 Glendalough Court in Tyrone.

The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization (MAOTeen), which is part of the Miss America Organization, is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs, making available more than $18 million in cash and tuition scholarship assistance to its 2014 national contestants.
