A north Fayette County man was arrested July 26 on charges of child molestation.
Joseph Raymond Culpepper, 60, of Rivers Road, was charged with three counts of child molestation, according to Sheriff Barry Babb.
Babb said deputies responded to Culpepper’s residence just after 10 p.m. after receiving a phone call from someone at the residence.
Culpepper was arrested based on witness accounts and the suspect’s own statements to law enforcement, Babb said.
Though the incident is still under investigation, Babb said the child involved was a visitor at Culpepper’s residence, with the charges stemming from the child’s visit on July 26.
