PTC Police: Crosstown Flash Foods robbed Sat. night

Peachtree City police are trying to identify a white man who robbed the Flash Foods convenience store on Crosstown Drive around 9:45 Saturday night.

The suspect got away on a “sport” type motorcycle and was described as a “large build” white male with fair skin clad in baggy jeans and a black motorcycle jacket, police said. The cycle was last seen on Crosstown Drive.

Here are the details from a police press release:

On June 29th, 2013 at approximately 9:45 pm, officers responded to a hold up alarm at the Flash Floods, 1001 Crosstown Drive, Peachtree City, GA. While officers were responding to the scene, a second call came into 911 reporting an Armed Robbery. A preliminary investigation has revealed that the offender entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. Several customers were in the store at the time of the Armed Robbery and provided statements to the investigating officers. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The offender is described as: A white male, approximately six feet tall, 200 lbs to 230 lbs, light eyes, fair skin, and displaying a large build. The offender was last seen wearing a dark blue or black motorcycle helmet, black motorcycle jacket, and baggy blue jeans. The offender fled the scene on a sports type motorcycle on Crosstown Road.
