Peachtree City police have released a sketch of a “person of interest” who is possibly connected to the burglary of Peachtree City First Baptist Church early Sunday morning.

The white male was seen in the area several days prior to the burglary police said. He was described as being 6’4” tall, with a heavy set build, approximately 260 pounds with a shaved head. He was reportedly wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, police said.

Various audio-visual equipment and related components were taken from the church prior to 7:15 a.m., police said.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people who committed the burglary and damaged church property during the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call police detectives at 770-631-2510. Callers may remain anonymous.
