J. C. Booth Middle School students began building a “Mountain of Help” (food drive) for the Real Life Center last week, and the mountain has grown to unspeakable heights. The school began with one cafeteria table and had to pull two more in the front of the building as this “Mountain” has grown through the generosity of these young people. Tuesday was was Over-the-top Tuesday, which brought in a whopping 675 items in just one day. These sixth, seventh, and eighth graders showed their caring spirit. The Real Life Center is an organization that provides food, clothing, financial assistance, and a host of other services for Fayette County’s residents who find themselves in need. Photo/Special.
