Atlanta-based NV Hair Studio and Wigs for Kids have teamed up to organize a Cut-A-Thon to promote Wigs for Kids, a non-profit organization that assists children who have experienced hair loss due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, alopecia and burns.
Wigs for Kids provides human hair wigs for children and assists them with their cosmetic and psychological needs.
The Cut-A-Thon will take place on Sunday, May 1 from 1 to 5 p.m. at NV Hair Studio, 1301 Commerce Drive, Peachtree City.
Hair cuts for pony tail donors are free. For those that do not have a pony tail, but wish to help, can have their hair cut for $50 at the event with all proceeds benefiting Wigs for Kids.
Donors will receive a goody bag donated from Nioxin Hair Products and Chick-fil-A. To schedule an appointment please contact NV Hair Studio at 678-364-8667.
