The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office raised $710 from T-shirt sales to donate to Thomas F. Chapman Family Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
The sheriff’s office got involved in supporting Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Fayette last year when Sheriff Barry Babb was part of Piedmont’s annual Real Men Wear Pink campaign.
“Nearly everyone has a story or connection to breast cancer,” said Anita Copeland of the sheriff’s office, adding that many on the staff wanted to continue to support the program again this year and hope to make it an annual tradition.
