Bennett’s Mill Middle engineering students were selected to present at the Georgia Educational Technology Consortium (GaETC) Conference.
The GaETC Student Showcase is an informal demonstration in an open-house, science fair format featuring students actively engaged in sharing classroom projects and activities. Teams of students share how they use technology to foster ideas, inspire creativity, and integrate new technologies that are integrated in their classrooms using 21st century tools.
Bennett’s Mill’s theme for their engineering program was “Adventure to Self-Discovery,” and it won 2nd place for Promotional Design for Georgia Technology Student Association (GATSA) Tech Day at the Georgia National Fair.
The Bennett’s Mill TSA chapter created an app to display and share the specific resources of the program, engaging with teachers, administrators, and vendors as they navigated the conference to share the accomplishments of the school. Students demonstrated how to create mini stained glass windows, and visitors to their showcase received a passport book with their own stained glass airplane.
