Earnhart named national economic teacher of the year

Crabapple Lane Elementary enrichment teacher Jill Earnhart has been named a National Association of Economic Educators (NAEE) Teacher of the Year. 

The first-ever NAEE Teacher of the Year Awards highlight teachers who make economic principles accessible and relevant, significantly improving student engagement and learning outcomes. There is a winner at the K-5 level and the grade 6-12 level. Each winner receives a $500 cash prize. 

Earnhart was nominated for her amazing work bringing economic concepts to life through her school-based version of the Econ Games and her ability to weave economic literacy into discussions and projects in all disciplines.
