Spring Hill Elementary’s Reading Rodeo rounded up families for a night of learning and fun.

The event was hosted by Title I for students and their families. Teachers from each grade level offered activities and games that students could collaboratively complete with their families and utilize at home. The purpose was to provide engaging and effective activities designed to support the development of students’ reading fluency and comprehension.

Katie Gay, 5th grade teacher, believes the school’s Title I program continues to expand as they strengthen their efforts in family engagement.

“Families appreciated the opportunity to work with teachers to create and take-home activities.”
