Fayetteville City Center Park spray pad season extended on weekends through September

Fayetteville, Georgia (August 21, 2025) The spray pad attraction at Fayetteville City Center Park will remain open on weekends through September, which will be good news to many City residents and guests. The popular water feature was due to close after Labor Day, but the Fayetteville Public Services Department extended the season due to forecasts of extended warm weather.

Presently, the spray pad is operational Tuesdays through Sundays, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is normally closed on Mondays for routine weekly maintenance. However, it will be open on Labor Day Monday to help families better enjoy the holiday weekend, and then it will be closed on weekdays throughout the extended season. It will only be open Saturdays and Sundays for the remainder of September, still operating during normal hours.
