Summer break wasn’t all vacation for the leaders of Fayette County Public Schools. The annual Administrative Institute brought together the school system’s leaders for two days of professional learning and collaboration.

The signature learning event for all school system principals, assistant principals, and district leadership was dubbed “Leader in Training.” It began with a gathering in the Fayette County High auditorium with messages of gratitude from the Board of Education, inspirational remarks from a recent graduate, and legal updates on state and federal issues. Breakout sessions covered a wide range of topics like tech tips, school improvement, collaborative writing, and discipline.

The Administrative Institute launched the leaders into summer refreshed and invigorated to prepare for the school year ahead.
