0The Sandy Creek High chapter performed well at the SkillsUSA Georgia Region 4 Competition, winning one event and clinching two more spots at state.
With their top 3 finishes, a trio of Patriots advance to the SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership & Skills Conference in February.
Ginny Phan won gold for Advertising Design. Emily Dykes took the silver in Pin Design, and Noelle Boyd earned silver in Prepared Speech.
Two other Patriots finished in the top 10: Elom Ayalew placed 4th in T-Shirt Design, and Lydia Nelson placed 7th in Extemporaneous Speaking.
