Oh the places Fayetteville Elementary students are going to go! As part of the school’s Read Across America spirit week, the hallways were filled with chefs, doctors, models, scientists, pilots, and athletes as the Tiger Cubs dressed for their dream jobs.

In middle of spirit week, they read the Dr. Seuss book “Oh, the Places You’ll Go.” FES is a Leader in Me School, and the story incorporates several key habits like shaping your own path, always working towards a goal, and being willing to try something new. To build on the book’s messages, students were challenged to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up.

The fun came with an important message: “At FES, we are here to guide the kids towards success, there will be ups and downs but you can be anything you want to be!”
