Charlie (Pete) Chambers, 77, of Senoia, Georgia passed away October 15, 2022.
He was born on December 7, 1944 in Brooks, Georgia to the late Charlie Roy and Hazel Faye Chambers. He was born and raised in Fayette County. Pete loved gardening, fishing, NASCAR racing, Elvis Presley and being outdoors. He never met a stranger and loved his family dearly.
Pete was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Chambers; sister-in-law, Pam Chambers; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Thompson Chambers; sons, Chuck (Erin) Chambers of Senoia and Shane (Elaine) Chambers of Milner; three grandchildren, Rebecca (Bobby) McKoy, Tatum Chambers, and Sydney (Austin) Drake; great grandchildren, Madi and Jett McKoy; sister Betty (Roger) Wilson; brother, Hank Chambers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Pastor Phillip Johnson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville following the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
