Fayetteville, GA. – Town Square Playhouse is proud to present Little Shop of Horrors this August!
Terror lurks and grows in a small, customer-forsaken Skid Row florist shop when bumbling assistant Seymour Krelborn discovers a strange and interesting new breed of plant. As the plant grows, so does Seymour’s fame and fortune. But at the same time, so does its appetite for destruction!
A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.
Little Shop of Horrors at Town Square Playhouse stars local actors Cameron Adams as Seymour Krelborn, Marli Pickford as Audrey, and gospel rap artist George “Rezurrection” Jones III as the voice of Audrey II. Rounding out the cast are Danny Dolan as shopkeeper Mr. Mushnik, Rob Bell as Orin the Dentist, and Alexandra Childers, Faith Emanuel-King, and Kima Whipple-Jackson as “The Trio”. Fracena Byrd is directing.
“Little Shop has always been on my bucket list of shows,” says Fracena Byrd, owner of Town Square Playhouse and director of the show. “As an actress, a singer, and even a puppeteer, there’s so much in this show to appreciate. I’m excited to be able to direct it with such an incredible cast, here in Fayetteville!”
