0The Marine Corps League Detachment #1325, recently received a national award. The award, The Junior Vice Commandant’s Citation, was presented to Detachment Commandant Jay Maxwell (left) in a public meeting by the Department of Georgia Commandant Larry Heard. The award was given to the Sgt Clyde Thomason Medal of Honor Detachment for exceeding the previous year’s membership. The Detachment serves Fayette and Coweta counties.
