0North Fayette Elementary is building the skills to make their students successful. The 5th grade trio of Morgan Osei, Danna Moreno, and Bri Simpson built and programmed a robot.
Robotics and programming are among the activities that North Fayette STEM students in grades 3-5 participate in, and this project was made possible thanks to a donation by the Fayette County Retired Educators Association.
“They worked as a team to build, troubleshoot issues, and complete the project,” said STEM technology specialist Daniel Barry. “Completion of a project gives our students a sense of accomplishment and builds self-esteem and confidence.
