The mean old Grinch can’t keep Fayetteville Elementary from having a wonderful Christmas. Tiger Cubs in the 4th grade took part in a STEM challenge to build Cindy Lou and the citizens of Whoville the tallest tree possible after the Grinch stole their town tree. Each team was given 50 miniature marshmallows and 50 toothpicks to work with, and they had 2 minutes of think time to strategize and plan their build, followed by 20 minutes of build time. The tallest tree was crowned the winner!
