The Tiger Cubs of Fayetteville Elementary have a wide array of talents, and they recently added to their tool kit by creating array cities. Students in Paulette Williams’s 3rd-grade class have been learning how to use models and strategies: repeated addition, skip counting, arrays, and equal groups to solve multiplication problems. To extend their understanding of arrays, students created array cities including at least 5 buildings of various sizes.
