Michael “Mike” J. Hyatt, age 48, was taken from this world far too soon on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
Mike was born on August 11, 1972 in LaGrange, GA. He is preceded in death by his father A.J. Hyatt.
Mike is survived by his mother, Pauline Parker and stepfather Willie Park; wife, Kathy Hyatt; step daughters, Denise (Kevin) Gravitt, Jennifer Mate; grandchildren, Codi Clouse (Meghan), Zachory Laster; great grandchildren, Savannah and Brantley Clouse. He is also survived by siblings, Rex (Tammy) Hyatt, Paul Hyatt, Cathy Avery; half brother, David (Brenda) Hyatt; step brother, Michael Parker; step sister, Rose (Larry) VanWinkle; nephew and nieces Bryan Hyatt, Ross (Nicole) Duncan, Courtney Duncan, Will (Michelle) Arrington, Melody (Brian) Helton and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman, having owned his own business, Hyatt and Associates, doing lawn care and landscaping throughout Coweta County and surrounding areas. He enjoyed fishing and football and his favorite was grilling on Sunday for the weekly family gatherings.
The memorial service celebrating Mike’s life is Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bobwhite Way, Newnan, GA located at Pavilion #1. All friends and family are invited.
