Mrs. Paula Gooseff, of Sharpsburg, GA, passed away on February 13, 2020. Paula was raised in Riverside, CA, and attended Pomona High School. She earned a Bachelor’s degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she met her husband of 52 years, Alex.
Soon after college, they moved to Seattle, WA where she was a clinical dietitian and began a family in 1973. After a move to San Antonio, TX in 1981, Paula and family settled in Georgia in 1991.
She was well known for sharing her smile and laughter, her unbiased generosity, and her baking and cooking talents, to the delight of many around her.
Paula is survived by her husband, Alex; son, Michael Gooseff; daughter: Laurie Gooseff; grandchildren, Autumn Gooseff and Peter Gooseff; and sister, Lynn Swartzell.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00.am. Friday, February 28, 2020 in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 135 Senoia Road, Peachtree City, GA with Steve Swartzell officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 a.m.
