The Rotary Club of Peachtree City presents the 12th annual Dragon Boat Festival Saturday, Sept. 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A record-breaking 50 teams will be rowing colorful dragon boats at this year’s event, which will be held on Lake Peachtree.
Family-friendly festival activities are centered around Drake Field, next to city hall and will include kids activities, food vendors, and many more fun activities. All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit three local charities: The Real Life Center, the Eden Project, and Piedmont Fayette Hospital’s Thomas Chapman Cancer Wellness Center.
Signature sponsors of this year’s event are Rinnai and Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
