The Fayette County Cross-Country Championship took place Sept. 16 at Sandy Creek High School.

The McIntosh girls took first place with 18 points, Whitewater finished second with 46 points, and Starr’s Mill was third with 92 points.

Megan Uszynski of McIntosh is the county champion with a time of 19:08 followed by Kayla Rose of McIntosh in second with a time of 20:20.

On the boys’ side, McIntosh finished first with 23 points, followed by Whitewater with 51 points and Sandy Creek with 87 points.

Zach Jaeger of McIntosh is the county champion with a time of 16:23 followed by Vladi Zander-Velloso of McIntosh with a time of 16:57.
