The March 9 agenda of the Fayette County Commission contains no old business and four items of new business. One of the new business items deals with a request by the Heritage of Peachtree City assisted living facility for Peachtree City annexation.

Heritage for some time has wanted the 3.5-acre site to be annexed into the city and has worked to have sewer service provided by Peachtree City installed on the property.

Also under new business are recommendations for three residents to serve on the Fayette County Zoning Board of Appeals.

There are a number of items on the consent agenda. One of those deals with the final approval of the wording for the cornerstones at the Kenwood Park Monument and Memorial Garden honoring the late Fayette County Commissioner Pota Coston.

Several other consent agenda items pertain to Public Arts Committee recommendations.
