Ministry sets fundraising event

Legacy Ministries for Christ will be hosting a special “Giving Tuesday” event Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at its center, 1952 Hwy. 54 West, Suite 100, in Peachtree City. There will be a dessert reception as well as the annual silent auction to raise funds for the center.

A 501(c)3 nonprofit training and counseling center which partners with local churches and the community “to equip the body of Christ to do the work of the Lord,” according to a spokesperson, the organization offers speaking and writing workshops, encouragement groups as well as special events quarterly. It has a full lending library and offers professional individual and family therapy as well as having chaplains on staff for other needs.
