Hopewell to host Game Night
On Friday, Jan. 29, from 7 to 9 p.m., Methodist Women will sponsor a Game Night at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone. There will be all kinds of board games to play. This will be a fun, multi-generational gathering and there will be yummy refreshments too. The community is invited to come out and enjoy this free, fun, Friday night event. Date changed for ‘50s, ‘60s party
The Peachtree City Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA), located at 4957 Ga.Highway 34 E. in Sharpsburg, will host a fun and family-friendly ‘50s/’60s Night on Jan.  30 at 7 p.m.  All ages are invited.  Come dressed in era-themed attire, enjoy delicious food, participate in a talent show, and dance to music from these fun decades. Stenner to speak Jan. 31
“A Fresh Look” with Louise Stenner, New Hope Baptist Church’s First Lady, will be offered  Sunday, Jan. 31, at  6 p.m. at the New Hope South Campus, 1563 Joel Cowan Pkwy. at the corner of Ga. Highways 74 and 85.  Visit newhopebc.org  for information.

FCCF schedules 5th Sunday service
The Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF) will hold its regular Fifth Sunday Celebration on Jan. 31,  at 2:30 p.m. at Golden Moments Christian Ministries (GMCM) in Fayette County.  The guest preacher will be the Rev. Alphonso Dixon.  The theme for this celebration is “Moving On Up in the Lord.”  GMCM is located at 192 Graves Rd., Fayetteville.  The host pastor is Elder Carl Golden. The FCCF is dedicated to building biblical bridges of brotherhood among churches in the South Metro area.  The entire community is invited.

Becoming ministry to meet Feb. 8
Lisa Johnson will be the speaker at the next meeting of the women’s ministry group, Becoming, at Peachtree City church of Christ, 201 South Peachtree Parkway, Monday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. Johnson will speak on “Into my heart hospitality.” Becoming is a monthly gathering of ladies aged middle school and up.
