McIntosh senior Jordan Lyons reached a milestone Dec. 19 in a home game against Sandy Creek, becoming the all-time leading boys basketball scorer in the school’s history.
Lyons passed Jeff Sheppard, who scored 1,919 points in his high school career. Sheppard was named Georgia Player of the Year in 1993, his senior year, and went on to play for the Kentucky Wildcats.
