Women’s ministry meets at PTC Church of Christ
The ladies of “Becoming, A Woman’s Ministry” at Peachtree City church of Christ invite women in the community to attend a “Friendsgiving Feast” and message on “loving thy neighbor” on Monday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at  the church, 201 South Peachtree Parkway. Becoming is a montly gathering of ladies aged middle school to adult. Its vision is that women of all ages can be inspired during a time of fellowship outside weekly worship and Bible study. Perlieu Stew time coming up
Bethany United Methodist Church, 607 Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County, will serve its annual Perlieu Stew on Saturday, Nov. 7 from noon until supplies are sold out. Plates are $10; extra desserts $1; quarts are $12 and pints are $6.

Pastor’s anniversary to be celebrated
The Flipper Chapel A. M. E. Church will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Rev. Kimberly Lyons on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 3 pm. The Rev. C. O. Adams and the Christ Community A. M. E. Church will be the guest pastor and congregation. Dinner will be served from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Flipper Chapel is located on Booker Avenue in Fayetteville.

Note-singing day at Holly Grove
On Sunday, Oct. 25,  at 1:30 p.m., Holly Grove AME Church will host its “Annual Stewardess Day (note -singing) Event. Holly Grove AME Church is located at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd. Peachtree City.

Belarus Choir to perform
Evergreen Church invites the community to a performance by the Belarus National Christian Choir on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.   The 33-member choir and instrumental ensemble will perform a one hour program of Russian Classics and folk music along with the Hallelujah Chorus, “It is Well” and other American Favorites.  Admission is free of charge.  Evergreen Church is located at 400 Windgate Road in Peachtree City.
