The Fayette Master Gardener Association has a limited amount of funds available to be donated to Fayette County not-for-profits organizations in 2016. Two types of requests are available – horticultural and educational.

In 2015, Fayette Master Gardener Association has financially supported Plant a Row for the Hungry, the Veterans Memorial Project, financial help for 4-H camps, the financing of the Junior Master Gardener Program, the Southern Conservation Trust, the Rising Starr Middle School special education butterfly garden, and the McIntosh High School Beta Club garden.

Applications can be obtained by emailing to [email protected] and have to be returned to that address by Monday, Sept. 15. More information will soon be available on the new website http://fayettemga.org.

The public is also invited to attend the monthly educational program at the FMGA meetings.
