Rotarians bag beans

Members of the Peachtree City Rotary Club recently bagged 2,000 pounds of black beans into more than 700 individual containers to help package food for distribution to food banks across the country.

Members met a s a group and volunteered their time to the Midwest Food Bank, a faith-based organization whose mission is to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to non-profits and disaster sites without costs to the recipients.
