Holly Grove AME will serve up BBQ, turkey lunch Sept. 14

Holly Grove AME Missionary Society Group will serve a takeout lunch consisting of turkey and dressing or barbecued chicken this Sunday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. at the church. The cost is $7 and includes one meat, one vegetable and one side dish, dessert and roll. The turkey dinner comes with dressing, cranberry sauce and one vegetable or side dish. The other choice is a barbecue chicken leg quarter with side dishes, roll and dessert.

Sides and veggies include macaroni and cheese, yellow rice, cabbage and green beans.

For a minimum order of three dinners, the church will deliver within a five mile radius.

Proceeds will be used to support various outreach programs in the community, such as seniors and youth assistance.
