The Georgia High School Association has released its revised schedule for the state traditional wrestling tournament.
The championships in all classifications were originally scheduled for Feb. 13-15 at the Arena at Gwinnett. After last week’s severe winter weather led GHSA officials to delay the event, it became necessary to find several alternate locations because the Arena at Gwinnett was already booked for the following weekend.
Wrestlers in the A classification, including several from Landmark, will compete Feb. 22 at Commerce.
In the AAAA category, with competitors from Fayette County and Sandy Creek, the championships will take place Feb. 21-22 at West Laurens.
The AAAAA tournament – whose representatives include wrestlers from McIntosh, Starr’s Mill and Whitewater – is set for Feb. 21-22 at Loganville.
