Students at Peachtree City Elementary School were treated to a display of administrative support when their principal and assistant principal, Dr. Kristin Berryman and Ms. Karen Oot, each kissed a pig. The two administrators promised to kiss a pig if students met a monetary donation goal for Pennies for Patients drive. Students at PCES eventually raised $1,802.43 to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the administrators made good on their promise by kissing a pig in front of the entire student body. Pictured are Lori Langbehn, school nurse, along with Jaxon Denison, Emily White, Jayla Holloway, Jacob Love, and Jonathan Paparo, all from first grade, as they present the “big check” to Monica Morse, representative from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
