Fayette Presbyterian Church’s team of members will participate in this year’s Relay for Life at Falcon Field in Peachtree City.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. Friday evening, May 18, and will continue through Saturday morning, May 19.

The Relay starts with a Survivors Lap at 7 p.m. This is an inspirational time when survivors are invited to circle the track together and help everyone celebrate the victories they have achieved over cancer.

This year FPC has a relay team consisting of Greer and Tom Broadwater, Pam and Peter Lewin, Glenda and Lamar Hasty, Bonnie Howland, Jan Eldridge, Vickie Jeffries, and Chuck and Cindy Phillips.

The church youth group is always involved staying all night and walking during the late and early hours.

FPC will have a “cook-out” for anyone willing to support them. Festivities go on throughout Friday night and into Saturday morning.

A church member will be having a drawing for a Pampered Chef stone, a Patsy Gullet collegiate print and will be selling cappuccinos.

Those wishing to donate money online can do so on Fayette Presbyterian Church’s team web page at: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/?team_id=1003304&pg=team&fr_id=39762.
