Twilight presents ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’

Twilight Theatre is in full swing of the 2011 season with the production of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

The show is directed by University of West Georgia graduate, Amanda Lindsey. “I am so blessed to work with this cast. They truly are amazing,” said Lindsey. The cast consists of people of all ages from the Fayette County community. The play follows four young lovers and their journey to finding true love.

All along the way they encounter hilarious workers from the marketplace, a mischievous fairy named Puck and the Kings and Queens of fairyland and Athens, Greece.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be performed at the Fayetteville YMCA Black Box Theater Apr. 1, 2, 15, and 16 at 8 p.m.; and Apr. l 3 and 17 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $12, general admission and $10 for students, seniors, and military. To order tickets, visit www.TheTwilightTheatre.com.
