Crabapple Elementary School in Peachtree City welcomed award-winning children’s author Carole Marsh as she talked about her newest “Real Kids, Real Places” mysteries. Students listened to “the stories behind the stories,” as Marsh shared interesting facts about the well-known places used as the settings of the books. “My passion is turning children into avid readers. They become readers when you make stories come alive for them from the earliest age. My most enjoyable days are spent with a roomful of children who ask lots of questions and want to learn,” Marsh states.

The Carole Marsh Mysteries series won the Learning Magazine Teachers’ Choice Award and is popular nationwide with kids, parents, teachers and librarians. In addition to new books in her mystery series, Marsh has released other new titles this fall including “The Students Civil War” series, “Mary America: First Girl President of the United States,” and the timely “The Gulf Coast Oil Spill: Poor Little Pelican + A KidReports Photo-documentary.” A wide array of Marsh’s titles are available locally at Omega Books, Peachtree City Education Station, The School Box and Scott’s Book Store.

Carole Marsh is founder and CEO of Gallopade, a 31-year-old publisher of children’s books, curriculum-related materials and educational resources. For more information visit www.gallopade.com or call 770-631-4222.
